DC nightlife staple, Fly Lounge, which has been shut down for months now, will be transformed into a new lounge, known as Heist! Though it's not official, the grand opening should take place within the next month and a half, and is being developed by DC club promoter and afficionado Anoosh Jahanian. Undergoing the thematic transformation from an airplane to the interior of a bank, Heist should bring in an intimate crowd with VIP tables, guest DJs, and the same upscale club atmosphere that Fly provided for so many years. And while none of this is official and simply just hearsay, there's a lot of buzz around town about Heist, and should definitely play a role in back-to-school nightlife. Think Heist will have the same success as its predecessor? Will it have what it takes to match up with its competitors in DC?
